"I deserve more, because I did more work than you. You only did a little bit!"
The words struck me as somewhat peculiar for two reasons. One: 'More' was referring to French fries and Two: Why do we think this way? The French fries were bountiful. Not to mention the context was a bunch of people cleaning up after a five day vacation Bible school (experience). It did make me feel better that the conversation was between pre-teen ish siblings.
This experience proved to be the perfect preface to Brennan Manning's "Ragamuffin Gospel."

this reminds me of that parable Jesus told about the man getting workers at different times of the day, and the ones who had been working all day got the same payment as those who worked only a little bit.
