3. write songs

la la la... Those were the only words that came to my head... and those aren't even real words. Music is a crazy thing. It is something that speaks to humans in a way I can't explain. Especialy in deciding what is good and what is bad and what is new and what is old. (go to subversivereformation.com to read more about that). Even if it is "good" or "bad" the creative nature behind creating songs is deep and mystical. It doesn't matter if it has been heard before, at its core it is art; it is fresh and new.

Anyway, I recently created a myspace page for my music.

It has been something I have enjoyed creating for a while and thought I'd share. I hope you enjoy my creative expression. Be my friend (if people still do that). Let me know what you think. I'll add some more songs and ideas as summer goes along.
Peace.

Adressing: Hannah Montana and Her Connection to Bands that are Good, like FiF, mae and Anberlin

I have been home now since Friday (14th). It is nice to be away from mvnu and everything that goes along with it. I'm excited to go back, but breaks (with no work) are very nice. But a lot has happened in the past 5 days or so. It all started on Friday, Friday the 14th.
Approximately two hours after i was reunited with my family, I left again. I left to go to Cleveland (again). This time it was for a visit to the Agora Ballroom/Theater to see a concert (Motion City Soundtrack, Mae, Anberlin, and Metro Station). Metro Station... ha. They weren't my favorite. I wasn't sure why anyone liked them, but I later found out that the lead guitarist is the brother of pop singer Hannah Montana! (Miley Cyrus). Their dad is Billy Ray, who happened to have a mullet. A mullet that happens to be endorsed by Five Iron Frenzy (R.I.P.) in their song "Phantom Mullet." What a connection.
Anyway, Mae was my favorite. I also liked the mcs guy's voice. It was pretty sick. and yay! anberlin, that was fun.
Well after that, the next big thing that happened on Sunday. My good friend Lauren Hood got married! (Congratulations Ben and Lauren (Ingle)!!!). It's crazy how fast she grew up. It makes me feel old. It was a very nice wedding and reception. Afterward, I threw up.
That's right, I spent the next couple days out of commission due to the stomach flu. eww. But it's Wednesday and I feel better. Tonight I attended the Orchestra concert. It made me appreciate music more than before. It made me appreciate the (music) education I received at Boardman. It is better that the music at the naz (no offense), but it's true and not that surprising. And the Jazz concert is tomorrow! yeah! Well that's home so far. Hopefully The Fine Sheep will record a song tomorrow too. that would be neat. Well, Goodnight.
